How to take a mixture of honey and cinnamon for your migraines and headaches?
Just head half a cup of milk and add 1.5-2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder. Gently bring it to boiling point and then pour it in a cup. Now add three tablespoons of organic, raw or manuka honey. Stir it softly to dissolve the honey. Once it’s cool sip it slowly. Take some rest (30-40 minutes) in your bedroom. Enjoy the rest of the day or night depending upon your time.
My favorite: honey, ginger and lemon tea
My first successful experiment to cure my headache using honey was by mixing it with some cinnamon and milk. I’ve already mentioned this recipe above step by step. My hot favorite drink, however, is tasty tea made using honey, lemon, and ginger. This is great. It is aromatic, sweet, digesting and soothing. It’s best to treat migraine and headache symptoms and will relieve your stomach ailments and will also boost your energy. I drink it daily. Let’s have a look how to make it.
Take some fresh ginger and cut it to small pieces. You can also grate it. If you choose grating, then use smaller amount. Take some water in a kettle and boil it. Put grated or sliced ginger in a cup and pour some hot water over it. At this point, add one or two tablespoon of raw honey. Cut a fresh lemon and squeeze half of it into the cup. Drink it while it is warm. However, avoid drinking it too hot.
Try honey and apple juice for headache
Take two tablespoons of honey and mix it in a ½ cup of apple juice. Now mix a tablespoon of cider vinegar. Drink this empty stomach.
Honey and warm water method
Take some warm water and pour it into a glass. Mix one tablespoon of honey in this water. As soon as you feel migraine symptoms, drink the solution. Repeat it after 30 minutes.
I, sometimes, use peppermint instead of lemon just for some change in taste. Both work fine.
Take 2 tablespoons of dried peppermint, Melissa, green tea, honey, yarrow and one tablespoon of honey. Mix all the herbs and honey into the green tea. Leave it to soak for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink in a cup every 2 hours.
